Infrastructure New Zealand and The Post are excited to present Future Proofing New Zealand: The 2050 Infrastructure Forum on Monday 2 December from 4:00pm, hosted by Chapman Tripp.
Last year, during the General Election campaign, INZ and Stuff hosted a debate between party infrastructure spokespeople to draw out the important system and pipeline issues confronting our nation - as they saw them. A year later, we feel it is time to bring the major parties together again. System change is underway for New Zealand’s infrastructure sector, with work on a 30 year National Infrastructure Plan, the Infrastructure Priorities Programme and the establishment of the National Infrastructure Agency in progress.
As ever, the improved certainty promised by these changes will depend on the political will to agree and stick to a long-term plan for New Zealand’s infrastructure.
Hear from the Minister for Infrastructure, Minister for Regional Development and the Leader of the Opposition, as well as a panel of industry and media representatives as we discuss the future of bipartisan agreement in infrastructure planning and delivery.
We would like to thank Chapman Tripp for sponsoring this event.
