Infrastructure New Zealand's Women's Infrastructure Network and Tonkin + Taylor are proud to present the International Women's Day Lunch - Inspire Inclusion: Championing Women on Friday 8 March 2024.

International Women's Day (IWD) is a thriving global movement, celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. IWD serves as a call to accelerate the progress of gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls around the world. Join Infrastructure New Zealand’s Women’s Infrastructure Network and Tonkin + Taylor, in celebrating International Women’s Day over a sit down lunch with an uplifting panel discussion and some inspiring Wāhine leading the way in Aotearoa.

Collective activation is what drives change. From grassroots action to wide-scale momentum, we can all inspire inclusion. We will explore how some of our leaders in the sector have championed women in their organisations and the tools, actions and policy they have used to advance inclusion.

When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.

Many thanks to Tonkin + Taylor for supporting this event. The Women’s Infrastructure Network (WIN) purpose is to increase the number of women in leadership roles, grow the visibility of women, and to provide a networking and support group for women in the infrastructure sector. We welcome men and women to this event. As part of a global network operating in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia, WIN NZ now has six chapters across the country: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Wellington, Christchurch and Southern with a combined membership of more than 1700.

This event is a sit down lunch. Tickets cost $29.00+GST and all ticket sales will be donated to Women's Refuge.
